Brief:
Cornwall Council have decided to bring together all local transport systems on land, sea and air under one unified brand. The brand needed to be inherently Cornish, modern and show connectivity.The new visuals would need to work as a recognisable mark on bus stops but also scale for digit with new travel cards and companion app.
Solution:
By focusing on the concept of seeing Cornwall through a window, I created a visual identity inspired by the shapes formed by Cornwall’s unique coastline, where land, air and sea all meet. The colours are directly taken from landscapes within the county. The logo is designed to be simple, unique and inspired directly by the landscape.
I'm happy to say this project made it to a final shortlist of 4 concepts presented in front of Cornwall Council & other key stakeholders during May 2018.
