Brief:
To create 3 individual prints for each Canadian location I visited while travelling. The prints for Toronto, Banff and Vancouver needed to capture the unique spirit and experiences within each place.

Trying to capture each place into a single illustration was a fairly difficult task to begin with. I decided to focus on a single feeling or sense to help narrow down my thoughts. For Toronto it was about embracing the city and the huge skyline that it creates. For Banff, I focused on the idea of letting go, forgetting everything and just enjoying the sounds, colours and smells of the outdoors. Finally for Vancouver, the print was dedicated to the food markets and night festivals that gave the city it's great character.
